Our team in Hong Kong was hired by Foodpanda APAC, based out of Bangkok, to shoot the local section of this regional campaign.

Each market in Southeast Asia was to have its own set of videos and photography to promote riders to “Join the Fleet”, and we worked with three real riders with real stories in Hong Kong to share their journeys as Foodpanda employees.

The photography was used as part of an OOH campaign across the city, while the videos in multiple formats were used across various social media platforms in Cantonese voice-over.

Capsule48’s video production house worked with three different Foodpanda riders to showcase their unique journeys, and how to use flexible work opportunities to enrich their lives. We documented each riders’ personal goals, from a passion for music to embracing motherhood.

The campaign direction focused on using natural light, handheld camera, and quick, fluid movements to capture the authentic, on-the-go nature of the riders’ daily experiences. We sought to catch candid moments and genuine emotions, like one rider singing a new song to his girlfriend before an order, or a young mother taking special care to frame her child’s handmade art. The result was a highly energetic and refreshingly genuine campaign that tells real stories about real riders.
