Zero Foodprint Asia (ZFPA), is a nonprofit organization focusing on agricultural climate solutions. Its sister organisation in California, Zero Foodprint (ZFP) was awarded “Humanitarian of the Year” by the James Beard Foundation.

A 1% solution.

The renowned local chef Peggy Chan recently founded the Asia-based chapter of Zero Food Print, and had one simple mission: to help reduce local carbon emissions by 1% through a series of initiatives with partnering restaurants.

She recruited our creative team to script and produce a short brand film that could help communicate her message in a straightforward, but engaging way.

To bring this video to life, we worked with our friends Jessi Lee Remedios and Amanda Kho to respectively help produce and art direct the project. Our team wrote the script, helped ideate the story flow, and shot and edited the final cut.

The end result was a colorful and playful treatment of sustainable agriculture that was a bit different from the typical montage of stock imagery you might see. Every frame was carefully selected by the team to tell Zero Food Print Asia’s story in a tasteful and engaging manner.
